Bulgaria, together with other European countries, met its gas storage fill targets of over 90% in the winter of 2024/2025. The coming year is likely to offer new price challenges. In view of this, the EC recently published a proposal to extend Regulation 2017/1938 on measures to safeguard security of gas supply.
