This week CEZ launched a new website, presenting its projects in the field of corporate social responsibility. The page provides some advices on energy efficiency and presents projects for improvement of the urban environment, as well as participation in volunteer and green initiatives etc. Additionally, tips for saving energy and information on estimated annual consumption of various electrical appliances can be found on the web page “Electricity Saving Tips”, as well as in the dedicate booklet “Energy Saver”.

In addition to the energy efficiency tips (in Bulgarian) on their web page, EVN presented a booklet (in Bulgarian) with useful energy tips for the customers in the beginning of last week. By means of clear examples it demonstrates what determines customers’ consumption and hence the amount of their monthly electricity bill. The web page contains a section with calculation examples (in Bulgarian) of the contribution of each electrical appliance to the household monthly bill, using prices valid since 1 August 2013.

Both companies undertake special initiatives for children energy education and last autumn Customer Councils were established, aiming at intensifying the dialogue with the customers and involving them in the decision making process.
