The Interest to the CEZ Shares Surpassed the Wildest Forecasts

Taking into account the new 9 million BGN from second-day’s auction, the benefit of the state from its shares in CEZ exceeded 90 million BGN. 15 237 shares of CEZ Distribution Bulgaria and 103 shares of CEZ Electro Bulgaria still remain for sale

Another 9 029 891 BGN will receive the state from the sale of its share in the two companies of CEZ Bulgaria after second-day’s auction on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.

The sale of the remaining state shares of the energy companies of CEZ that started yesterday /Monday, October 29th/, surpassed the wildest forecasts of the analysts and the management of the exchange. Early in the first hours of the auction there were sold 48 074 of CEZ Distribution Bulgaria AD (or 75.56% of the whole remaining package) and 560 of CEZ Electro Bulgaria AD (or 33.94% of the whole remaining package).

The market orders, which were the majority of the submitted offers, were executed at a price of 1 605.85 BGN for a share of CEZ Distribution Bulgaria AD and 9 485.37 BGN for a share of CEZ Electro Bulgaria AD.

The total number of the deals, made during the first day of the sale, is 499, as shares were bought by 31 investment brokers and the total amount to be received by the state is 82 511 287,89 BGN.

Of the remaining not traded off yesterday 15 550 shares of CEZ Distribution Bulgaria there were bought only 313 at an average price of 1 517.10 BGN, representing a decrease of 5.25%, compared to the price reached on the yesterday’s first auction. From today’s deal the state will receive 475 thousand BGN.

Of the remaining for sale 1 090 shares of CEZ Electro Bulgaria today were bought 987 lots totally at an average price of 8 667.72 for a share, representing a decrease of 8.62%, compared to the average price reached yesterday and only 0.09% over the minimum price, set by the Privatization Agency. The total amount for these securities today is 8.56 million BGN.

 

15 237 shares of CEZ Distribution Bulgaria and 103 shares of CEZ Electro Bulgaria still remain for sale.
