On 23 September 2025, Eurelectric will host an in-person event at Eurelectric to present its annual Power Barometer, a data-centric up-to-date analysis of the European power sector’s progress towards electrification as a mean to our European decarbonisation targets as well as an outlook on major trends in the sector in the mid to long term.

This year’s edition aims to provide a clear picture of where we stand today, the progress we have made, and the obstacles we must overcome to ensure a sustainable and secure energy future for the European Union. We hope that Power Barometer 2025 will contribute to the EU energy landscape by well-informing policymakers and other stakeholders about the energy transition, with a particular focus on addressing the critical challenge of stagnating electricity demand and electrification.
